Concussion Baseline Testing

Concussion baseline testing is a tool to assess neurological and cognitive deficits that may exist following head injuries. The test does not diagnose a concussion, but instead compares a baseline to post-injury scores, giving the physicians more information so they can make the best return-to-sport decision for the athlete. This empowers athletes make appropriate return-to-sport decisions. ATs conduct concussion baseline assessments at our partner schools during June and July. Contact the Andrews Institute athletic trainer at your school for assessment dates on your campus. Email SportsMedicineOutreach@TheAndrewsInsititute.com for more information.
