Andrews Institute Welcomes Nicholas Goyeneche, M.D., to its Team of Experts
GULF BREEZE, Fla. (Dec. 12, 2022) – Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is pleased to welcome board-certified physician Nicholas Goyeneche, M.D., to its non-surgical sports medicine team. Dr. Goyeneche specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation and uses minimally invasive treatments for conditions including arthritis, tendon pain and acute sports injuries. His clinical interests include sports concussion management, electrodiagnostic studies, regenerative medicine and ultrasound-guided procedures including ultrasound-guided carpal tunnel release for carpal tunnel syndrome. Dr. Goyeneche also performs the TEXEX procedure, a minimally invasive procedure for patients with chronic tendon pain.
Dr. Goyeneche earned his medical degree from the Louisiana State University School of Medicine in New Orleans. He also holds a bachelor’s degree from Louisiana State University. He completed his residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center in New Orleans and his fellowship in primary care sports and musculoskeletal medicine at the Andrews Institute for Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine in Gulf Breeze, Florida.
He is certified by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and retains memberships with both the American Medical Society of Sports Medicine and the American Academy of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation.
